Course Overview

This course builds upon the fundamentals to introduce common wiring methods and code applications. Students will gain hands-on experience with panel installations, circuit sizing, box fill calculations, and code-compliant wiring techniques for residential and light commercial systems.

  • Apply NEC Chapters 1–3 to real-world wiring scenarios
  • Calculate conductor sizes, box fill, and service entrance requirements
  • Identify residential load circuits and sub-panel design
  • Perform conduit bending for basic installations
  • Read electrical plans and install circuits per blueprint
