Course Overview
This advanced course introduces apprentices to industrial applications, motor controls, and renewable technologies. Students will interpret NEC Chapter 4 and apply it to motors, hazardous locations, and photovoltaic (solar) systems.

- Understand and apply NEC rules for motors and control equipment
- Wire and troubleshoot basic motor starters
- Describe classifications of hazardous locations and required protections
- Interpret solar system designs and installation requirements
